About the Event

Presented by Sally Martin (SheepMetrix), this workshop will provide sheep and goat producers with technical support and independent advice on how to navigate the hardware and software options surrounding eID implementation at a commercial production level, and the planning process behind it, so you can get the most out of your eID system. A one-on-one follow up session is also supported following the workshop attendance.

This workshop is supported with funding from AgriFutures Australia and is part of the AgriFutures Producer Technology Uptake Program. We have also teamed up with Neogen to support bringing this workshop out to WA from the eastern states and ASHEEP & BEEF to cover catering and venue hire.

The workshop has a commercial production system focus (e.g. it is not focused on studs).

Topic Area 1:

Develop your implementation plan based on production and breeding objectives and review potential hardware/software options.

Topic Area 2:

Data collection - timing and protocols. Data storage - what, when, where & how.

Topic Area 3:

How to manage and analyse your data. Using this data for production, breeding and management systems.

One on One Session - Online

1 hour online session with the SheepMetriX team to discuss issues, ideas or questions post the workshop attendance.

Cost: $99 per business (includes up to two people).
