ASHEEP & BEEF field days, workshops and events involve visits to working farms and may involve attendees being in close proximity to livestock including sheep and cattle. There may also be opportunities to handle livestock as part of an event program, for example learning to handle stock, assessing stock, animal husbandry techniques, and similar.

If you are at an ASHEEP & BEEF event please stay as a group and observe any instructions given to you from event speakers, farm staff, and ASHEEP & BEEF staff. Keep a safe distance from any livestock we may encounter and if you are given an opportunity to work with them or handle them, please observe the following Safe Work Procedures:
